How to Maintain Charts of Accounts
1.open the peachtree software .
2.go to set up a new company and follow the steps and go to
welcome page to make the maintain charts of accounts .
3. after entering the sample charts of accounts à click on the beginning
Balances to select the period at which we have to enter the beginning balance
to calculate the net income.
4. after selecting the beginning date of account ,click OK
button to proceed further. We will enter the amounts according to our account
type, either Dr or Cr. And in the end the total from both sides will come
equal.
5. after the balances
come equal, press the OK button which is on the top of the bar to save the
Charts of Accounts you made.
