Setup a new company
1. Open Peachtree software to set up a new company .following
is the picture of the Peachtree software:
2. by clicking on the second option” Set up a new company” the following window will appear:
This is an introductory window for New Company Setup and will
guide us through this process. We should be having following information to go
through this process.
3. After clicking on the next button it will take you to the
“company information “window, in this you will have to fulfill all the
requirements according to the type of company you want to make.
To proceed further at least you should have your company
name.
4. After clicking on the next button, the new window will
appear which will show you the window of “Chart of Accounts”.
This window tells you about the several methods for setting
up your company.
As you have performed all steps
of making your own new company, so you will click on the last circle
“Build your own company” which will take you to the next window of Accounting
Method.
5. This will ask from you about
the Accounting Method you want your company to be used. Either Accrual or Cash.
Depending upon your need and
requirement you select the Accounting Method and press Next button to proceed
further.
6. This window will tell you
about the Posting Methods how you want your company to process transactions.
Either Real time or Batch.
By clicking on any of the one
option press next button to proceed further.
7. The following window will
appear after clicking the next button. It will ask you about the Accounting
Periods you want to select for recording your transactions of the company.
After clicking on any one of the
option click on the next button to proceed further.
8. This window will ask you about
the Monthly Accounting Periods. It will ask you three options.
Fulfill your all the requirements
and press the next button to proceed further.
9. A Congratulation window will
appear which identifies that you have fulfilled the requirement information for
setting up a New Peachtree Accounting company.
By clicking on the Finish button, it will complete its all
information by merging the entire requirement.
10. The new company is build and all the steps and data is
given to make future changes in the company.
